"THE LIFE PROJECT"  is an open and evolving body of work that traces the ephemeral presence of WATER across its elemental states – from liquid to solid to air. Photographed in remote and often unforgiving environments, the series reflects a quiet pursuit: to observe how light meets matter, how form begins to dissolve, how time carves beauty into transience. Each image is less a depiction than a distillation – a meditation on impermanence, perception, and the shifting memory of the natural world

Initiated at an early stage of Franz Xaver Aicher’s career, "THE LIFE PROJECT" has no defined end. It remains a lifelong archive of elemental moments – shaped by endurance, silence, and light.
